Aftermarket Fuel Pressure Regulator

Just wondering if we can get some info and pics from guys out there that have done this what brands you recommend how to adjust it for different setups and what not. All info is appreciated thanks!

Alright, here is the picture of how to run the vacuum line, when doing the OEM FPR MOD.

If you also have a boost gauge, you Tee into that line for the boost gauge.

Just put on a gauge on the side of the fpr where my pro efi fp sensor is and adjust it from the top of the tomei fpr.

i dont have any pics of the stock fuel rail with my fpr.
all it needs is a tomei adapter for the fuel rail and u just run the hose to it.

i have the apr fuel rail on now so i know longer use that adapter piece.

if u end up going tomei. i have a spare adapter piece for it. if u need it.

is it a universal adapter or? Also is the fuel pressure regulator adjustable or is it self adjusting?

The adpater Is for toyota and nissan.
I put the link for u for the adapter up top.
Yes the fpr is adjustable. U have to adjust it your self.

Good info, I have been trying to find out what fittings would be needed to use one of these, since my factory one is shot.

Easy easy easy. Dezod has it all.

I compared some info with Paul about the Tomei Subi/Toyota fuel rail adapter. Said that AEM has one that bolts up. Same as the Scion tC.

ya where the pro efi fuel sensor is on the fpr is where u connect a hose to the gauge than u can adjust ur fpr by using the top of it.

Figured i put this here since boosted folks would more than likely need more fuel anyways and give Torspd something to start off of then he can sticky it.

We should put the Fpr mod here, the tomei one and also the aeromotive one..

Whitebeauty, I was waiting for you to start a thread on this. Sounds good to me. I've been looking at the Tomei L but is a little pricey. I read on a website that they were being dicscontinued. I am going to just tee off of my boost vacuum line to my stock fpr for now.

To complete this mod you need:

An aftermarket fuel pressure regulator (Tomei or Aeormotive)
Fuel rail adapter
fuel pressure guage
vaccuum hose?

Just starting a list. Gotta find pics.

Ive had it for awhile. Not sure if im gonna use it though. If i need to up the fuel press. Then i'll put it on.

Also looks like we need extra fuel line. Stainless steel braided line - how much extra do we need?

Doesn't have to be braided. That is just a preference. I currently have aeroquip push lock hose on mine. About 5-6 feet. Take a quick measurement, and get a little extra for routing.

3/8" hose will slide over the steel return line, at the fender well on the driver side. That is also known as -6 AN.

This is wat ur gonna need to install the fpr.
7ft of starlight hose, 3- 6an fittings, 1 straight, 1 90 And the tomei adapter for the stock.rail.

the gauge on the fpr for adjusting.
