OEM Subwoofer Removal

Hey, I am going to remove my sub woof for awhile and was wondering if there are aftermarket covers to cover the subwoofer mounting holes and the area where it connects. Stealership doesn't carry such items/parts....

Nothing to cover it up unless you swap out the entire back panel with a stock replacement from another tacoma that doesn't have one or make a custom sub box that covers it. If you do take it off, can you make a video, I would really like to see how much force it takes to remove it. I pulled the he!/ on the panels and wouldn't budge and was afraid I was going to break something.

I tried removing it several months ago and I couldn't get it to budge either. Before I attempt it again, I want to find a stock replacement panel. Thanks for chiming in......

I took mine out to paint the silver x part. If I remember correctly u just pull the cover off then u can acces the bolts

A custom set up at a shop near me was 1100.00 that's to put 2 8" subs an amp and a custom box in... Not worth it as long as it does start sounding too terrible IMO...

I don't mind the stock sub, guess old age is catching up to me, I just want to remove it temporarily to do the head rest delete, need more room for the child seat, poor design when it comes to kids
