I changed my oil/filter today. I had a Puralotor Pure one, part number PL10241. It's the same as the Purolator: L10241, but the better one, I guess. When I took it off no oil came out, it was bone dry. Does that mean it does not have a anti-drain valve?

this is why you should always use a factory filter :top:

I hate toyota dealers -_-

I got a filter on my lunch break today, didn't even think about it. I get home.. Wrong ...-_-

How hard is it to get a filter right, I told him I wanted a filter for a
4.0L V-6 Tacoma X-runner..

90915-20004 is the OEM Japanese Toyota filter used on the Lexus V8 engine

It cost about 4x more than the US Toyota Filters. I think they were discontinued or are in limited production because they are hard to find.

http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/parts/toyota_filter/index.html some info comparing the US and Japanese filter

Da*n bastards sold me the wrong oil filter too.... Definately not used to changing the oil on a taco. I've always had american cars with obvious oil pans and oil filters... Nice thought, but messy.
