well after arguing with the dealership for a few days my trucks finally getting fixed ...its going in the shop on april 9th to get the rear fenders resprayed and 3m rock guard :rock: ...and i get a rental car to play with :biggrin:

Man I need to get mine resprayed... I got chips in my rear fender flares too! What all did you have to do to get them to fix it?

I will say the worst chips I have seen to date happens to be on SWB. I mean REAL bad. not sure why tho..

my passangers side has no paint at all left from the bottom and up like 7 in. :thumpdown:

My truck is out of warranty now but im going to see if i can't get something done anyway :top:

actually i think its technical service bulltein but same differance.. basically a problem that toyota is aware of and has a fix for, but doesn't require a vehicle recall.

I havent' noticed any on mine but I only have 16,000 miles on it. When did you guys start noticing yours?

Sh*t i only had like 8000 when I started seeing them!!! I wasnt happy...

yes this is true they said it all depends on the circumstances like if you have a brand new truck and half the paints missing off the flare not if you have and 05 with 20k on it or something like that

I went to my local dealer and asked them if i could get mine fixed and they said not a problem.... so when i take it in for my next service they are gona give me a rental and keep my truck for a couple days so they can fix it free of charge....:top:

I finally just ended up taking mine to one of the local shops and getting him to touch everything up when he replaced my front bumper cuz some idiot in the parking lot hit the crap out of me, but anyways he did a real good job and hooked me up with a tint :biggrin:

Also didn't have to deal with the stupid ass dumb as sh#t dealership effers
