just changed my plugs. I had ngks' and densos' in mine. WTF is that about. It was a pain in the azzz to change the drivers side, when I pulled the plugs, boy did they look abused.:top: :driver:

Toyota does that a lot on the V-6, one head will have Denso and the other NGK, I believe they do that so they keep both vendors , they are some of the best plugs out there and hold up really well.

I noticed when I pulled my plugs out, that I had factory Densos in both sides.... I have heard many people say they were mixed with NGKs though...

how did you get the driver's side plugs out??? there is absolutely no room i cant even pull the coil pack out 1/6 of the way before it is blocked from coming out any more let alone detach teh plug to the coil packs.

I remember having to undo a bracket for a hose or something... its been awhile so I'm not 100% sure.

Most V6's use denso/ngk combinations. Don't know why. I changed to denso iridiums and never looked back on my 03. I'll probly do it for this truck as well. I just don't want to drop $40 on plugs right now. :laugh:
