powder coating stockers

i was just wondering how to get the plastic center cap done. cause i plan on getting the rims blacked out but i dont want to have a silver center cap.

little force... i used a small screw driver and lightly!!!! downwardds and it slipped right off

yeah you cant powder coat plastic. you have to pait them to match...

paint...pait...that doesnt make sense

Mine where painted when I had mine PCed. They removed the yota emblem to paint them and put them back on. For yours, there is really not much need to take the emblem out if your going to black em out. Just have em paint the entire thing. They can't PC them cause the oven(s) will melt them. Keep us posted on your progress. I paid 425 for all four (color of my stripes).

And I think gunmetal would look sick on that BR. Or gold.

ok so i can just get some spray paint? im gonna take the whole thing to them and let them take it off...so ill ask them while im there if they can do something. cause ive heard there is a new way to powdercoat plastic...idk how without melting. but anyway i got an quote of 350 so im going to take the rims tomorrow for them to start. im going with a semi-gloss black cause ive blacked out the windows and tails...

yea, you could paint em yourself. Just remember to sand them prior too and wet sand em once dry. To bad Black Cat isn't around, he can paint pretty damn good. Think he painted a members caps black. Came out damn good.....

I left mine off.:laugh: I felt the lack of a cap was a more industrial look and fitting for a murdered out truck.

i have already got them coated and the caps are black too...maybe someone else has them without caps
