I will admit though this truck is a slug stock. But I didn't buy it for speed, in fact I sold my fast car to buy the truck. Even my GSX would kill my XR and it's stock as well.

I mean seriously... the TC had to have some mods. 160hp vs 235 hp stock - the XR wouldn't have a problem winning that race even even from a roll.

yea. I can probably take a vid of a stock tC and the x this weekend. My best friend is driving up from LA this weekend and he just got a 07 tC. If I can't to a vid, I'll at least take pictures and tell you who won. We are both the same when it comes to driving. We used to race when I was in LA. And we always stayed next to each other no matter what the car. Crazy. Anyways that's that. :top:

yeah there was some TC that lived next to me ... always ran him ... i always came out winning ... but i only lost if i grinded gears ... but for some reason i dont see his TC at his house ... i know his license place ... real easy to remember ... but now i see his license plate on a DUB cab Tacoma ... prolly he traded in

well I ran a TC getting on the freeway a few months back, he kept up until about 90, then fell horribly behind...i dont know what tranny it had. Those are d@mn ballsey cars though with the 2.4.

You might be surprised, they can keep up man.

My best 1/4 was 15.1 and my friends tC best 1/4 was 15.8. If he jumps ahead of me it's close, but I still pulled. They are very close, one missed shift and could be over if the tC can drive. Most of the time you should win. If the tC is modded, it will be very tough to tell based solely on the engine.
