Ok so when I put on my XRU sticker I noticed that my rear window had some stuff on it. So I tried to clean it with pro. streagth window cleaner and then when that didn't work I tried goo-gone. Needless to say that didn't work eather. So I stuck my sticker on and said f it. So I went to bretts and jennie's this weekend and let brett have a look at it and he can't figure it out eather. He says that it looks like buck shot or a defect in the window itself.

So my question to you all is, have any of you guys/girls had a problem like this? Where there's a group of chip/bubble looking things.:dontknow:

Oh it's mainly on the pass side but there's some on the drives and slider. There's nothing on the rest of the truck and I didn't hear/see anything hit it when I was driving eather.

It kinda looks like the window is "Bubbleing" cuz there real small spots about the size of a grain of sand that stick out If you take your fingernail and scratch on one the Bubble part comes off and theres a little pit in the glass under it :dontknow:

Its on the outside on the rear passenger window and theres a few on the slider and drivers side rear window.. It kinda looks like Pine sap but she tried everything and it wont come off. And like I said the spots are the size of a grain of sand.

I haven't read the whole post but I would say it looks like welding splatter. Could of happened from a grinder throwing sparks as well. I would assume they had your bed off while fabbing up your air setup and could have caused this.:dontknow:

but wouldn't it of messed up the paint too. From what I can tell there's nothing wrong with anything else.

I would bet if you took the bed off you would be able to see something wrong with the paint on the backside of the cab. The bed lid sits higher than the window seal so it would hide any damage to the paint on the rear of the cab. If they were grinding on the frame and throwing sparks upward towards the window it wouldn't hurt the top of the truck. Notice how in the pic there seems to be more of these pits towards the bottom of the window and thins out as you go up.

is it bumps on the window?
have you tried scraping it off with a razor blade?
if anything you might need a new window..
i see this once in a while while im tinting cars..
even on the inside of the windows
