First of all.....WOW....lol....It sounds sooo good, it's actually pretty scary sounding...very intimidating (I also have a flowmaster 40series installed from previous). On 1st and 2nd gear, FORGET ABOUT IT! It sounds like it's going to take off (it has this raspy, gurgle sound to it...just slightly louder than just the flowmaster).I also got the new tip installed, it looks really good on there, it fills up that hole perfectly. I wish I can put sound clips but my camera doesn't record. :motz: ohhhh well, here are the pics of the install...the sweet part was that it only cost me $220 for the tip and the custom Y.

This is just the passenger side and the straight pipe.

And the new stainless polish tip to finish it all off. :top:

nice, I'm still deciding on my exhaust. I wanna do custom true dual into a magnaflow dual in single out, but I'm not sure.

Looks sweet, nice tip. What kind is it??

The tip is from Miami Muffler down by where I live...if your not so sure with what exhaust you want to get, just hear mine..:top:

My cats were actually gutted out, so they are still there, just hollow :)
the front ones are easy, just unbolt the Y Pipe and jam a broomstick in there till they are empty.
The rear ones you either remove like Miguel did in this post, or cut them in half and gut them out, then reweld them back together like i did.

is there that much of a difference between removing just the rear and removing both?

I bet that sounds awesome xtop! I have just the 40 series right now and it's already loud as hell. I can't imagine it with no cats. Tip looks nice btw.:top:

Is there a wire mesh inside the cats like on the 99's?
