Has anyone else gotten a letter from toyota about the safety belts bolts coming loose? I got a letter today about it. Just heads up.

It affects all 2005 to 2011 toyota access cabs. Driver and front passenger seat belt assemblies.

Got mine 2 days ago (same time as my settlement payout).
Haven't had time to take it in yet...

I got my letter last week. There are several recalls my truck has not had but is eligible for. I do not want them to reprogram my ECM for the throttle and brake update or cut my go peddle in half.

I've had it done and haven't noticed a thing...
I put my aftermarket pedal back on as soon as I came home and it feels the same.
As for the re-programming, I don't heel-toe or do burn-outs when I drive and it has yet to "kill" it for me.

BTW: They did not cut my pedal, they replaced it with a new unit.

For most owners the reprogram would go unnoticed but for me it would interfere with my on track driving. I already have enough interference with stability control, I do not want any other new challenges.

Doesnt the fuse pulling fix your stability issue? Or is it not working anymore

Yes I have a fix, but I do not want to have to learn how to work around any new stuff. I actually like the stability control just not when I have the tire and brake package for track use.

I know about the seatbelt recall but I did not know about the ecu reprogram. sounds like they're taking their sweet time getting this out
