I know most of you have the short throw shifter. Is it worth it? Is the shifter just shorter? I'm thinking about it and whatever you all can tell me would be nice. Some first hand advice. Thanks

Wow you're probably the only one out with without a short shifter lol. They are amazing little things. Right now there are three brands that make them, URD, TRD, and B&M. The install is super easy and the results are amazing. It is worth every penny.:top:

I have heard good things about the B&M since it has an angled shift arm, it's supposed to be better for some reason.:hmmmm2:

I have the URD and it's the cheapest of them all and shortens the throw more than any of the others.

geez the trd is a little high :motz:

Haha 349.00 for a TRD Quickshifter? I don't think so. Do some research. This site sells it for $175.00

I may be a bit biased for the TRD, but when people bring up prices it all comes up to just searching on the web for the cheapest prices. All three are good, but shouldn't just boil down to prices too. Its the quality

It's not like I made that price up, I gave a link and everything.

Oh, and the link you gave doesn't talk about the TRD ss, it's about some battery or something.:top: If you can, give us the link to where it sells for "$175.00."

I know i didnt say you made the price up. That price just seems to be the most expensive on the net:biggrin: You need to go through a dealership to get the best prices. Click on the link again it'll work, somehow i posted another thread that i didn't even copy:hmmmm2:

Lol URD's still the cheapest and it shortens the throw more than any of the others.

I didn't know that. TRD claims about a 33% decrease in shift throws and URD claims 44% yet there have been threads that compare the two and said they felt it was exactly the same...
