Ok, so...

Yesterday I get to my house and i'm about to turn the engine off when i see that my wideband gauge is reading 12.4 at idle instead of 14.7-8 like it should. So i give it a minute, but it doesn't return to the 14's. I turn off the car and turn it back on, still sits at 12.4...finally after another minute or so of idling there, it returns to the 14's, so i turn off the truck and leave it at that.

This morning i turn it on...it reads 12.4 at idle again. It continued to do so until the engine was warmed up and then it finally started reading in the 14's again. Then i notice that its almost like it's going into open loop too soon.. i can gas it just a little and get readings in the 13's and 12's. Also instead of showing lean numbers when i switch gears i seem to get numbers in the low 10's or even high 9's. The truck is bogging down some in 1st gear and then getting a kick of power all the sudden...

I still have my blown cats on the truck and am trying to convince myself that this is whats causing my problem. I'm having a compression check done tomorrow morning to see if i have low compression... I have not gotten even a little bit of knock.

If this engine's blown i do not know what im gonna do. I really hope the compression check shows all cylinders as ok.

Dood - I hate to say it, but 300+ hp sounds like nothing short of a pain in the friggin azz. I wanted that S/C soooooooooo bad. But you know what? I like driving my truck and not having it ever crap out on me.

SORRY to hear that you're still having problems Jon. Good luck bro.

I am going to have to agree with K2 on this one....having my truck run normally and driveable means more to me than the extra 60+ HP....I do hope it turns out to be something minor, but doesnt sound too promising bro! Good luck my friend:dontknow:

i guess on the bright side, it was an extra 150rwhp, not 60.

i dont think it was the super charger that caused his motor to possibly blow. just the fact that he tried to stretch 350 hp out of it. maybe we will finally have an idea of what limits our the 1gr has now

My engine hasnt knocked at all so i'd find it hard to believe that it had relation to boost but who knows. On another note, i've gone through about the same amount of methanol injection as Xrobber had...just not as quickly.

keep in mind, im not 100% sure its blown...

I'll post tomorrow as soon as my compression check is done. If this engine isn't blown, i dont know what the hell could be causing my problem.

I'm open to anyone's thoughts on what they think could cause this problem (besides a blown engine).
