Staggered Wheel setup on an XR??

I was woundering if we could put a staggered wheel setup on our trucks... I will be putn the DJM 3/3 on my truck soon and will be running 20s... Is it possible to run a 20x9 w/35mm offset w/ 255/35/20 tires in the front and 20x10 w/37mm offset w/ 275/35/20 tires in the rear??? Would this work? I think it would look sick!!!:rock:

Or should I just stick with the 20x9 all the way around w/ 255/35/20 tires???

I want to order the wheels today and the guy that owns the company I am ordering them from tells me the staggered setup will work... He guarantees they will fit and not stick out!!!! He said if I got them and they dont fit or I dont like the way it looks I can return them for a FULL REFUND!!! Said he would put it in writing!!! I told him I was goin to ask around and call hiw back...

I say keep em the same all around. You'll be able to rotate. It will be a little cheaper and the staggered setup isn't that noticable, to me anyways. Maybe a half inch lip difference. Staggered looks nice on some like the 350Z where you can get a huge lip in back. I'm going to do things right this time, 20x8.5 all around.:top:

that offset will not work for the rear 10". sorry.

:laugh: Yea it seems the only people that really know anything about an XR is the people who own one:rock:

By the way the wheels im getn are the EXE Konvex (made by Axis)20x9 w/ 35 offset... So they should have the same size lip as the shines i would think? And should fit the same too?

And tire size? 255/35/20 OR 265/35/20 which would be best to go with? I know I ask alot of ?s and I appreciate your help...

the spoke design has more to do with the lip then the offset.

more? i dont think it has more, but, forunately for me i know what rims he is talking about, and the face of the rim looks very close (same brand ect) as mine :rolleyez:

i was just saying that in general. my wheels are 20x10 in the rear with a +25 offset and the lip is only about an inch deep, due to the hub and spoke design.
