It should not be slipping. They are designed to stretch. Look at the little half moon looking things under the nut and bolt. If they are driven all the way into the pocket and it slips, they are stretched out. If not, get an impact and drive that thing home.

You might also need to tweak the hanger at the tip a tad.

Jim, on your video description on youtube, it says this is a spec-u exhaust with "straight pipe". What does that mean? Are you running spec-u headers with no muffler, or is this the spec-u exhaust (after the headers) with muffler removed? What are you running?

I got the spec-u exhaust system and deleted the muffler. I don't have the headers yet.

I'm still deciding on the headers. I want the urd but its on backorder and I don't like to wait. I might just get the JBA long tube.

I'll be cool if Gadget can let me cut in front of the waiting list, so I can do a real video with some combo of exhaust set up. I haven't really seen a video of a drive by , wot or a rev and drive it like you stole it

I am abut to change my muffler out

and I have been looking at the dyno max vt I have ran them before but has any one ran one of them on there trucks here ?

Well I dropped the bomb and bought the vt muffler and wow I am impressed I have yet to run one on a 6 cylinder useing a y pipe... I have ran them on dual v8's and 2 honda's

The muffler excels with 6 pules's in stead of 4

over all it's old man approved and young buck approved when you hammer on the gas

I just graphed it into the stock exhuast and it fit so well like it was ment to be there
