Touch-up Paint

Hey Mort,

Where did you pick up the factory matched touch up paint from? I got a rock chip on my rear fender and wanted to touch it up...I might check out Toyota Parts after my class tomorrow

btw, do i need the harnesses and stuff for the center turn signls/parking light mod? people said its like 50 bucks i think that's ridiculous for a mod

You talking about the daytime running lights ? yea, its a couple of relays with harness i think

Yeah the day time running lights. I know that one of the other Taco guys had done his because he was right behind me...looked sick, I should have asked him when we made that stop at Makapu'u.:banghead:

the touch up paint I have is from the dealership. I paid like $4 for it. It has a brush connected to it. I think the one that shook has is different but better.

Here is a question for you. That place by the airport that makes the custom U bolts...what did you ask for when you got them? Wanna make sure I get the right thing the first time.

well i didn't really ask them. i just showed them the blocks that i had and he looked at my truck outside. he went in the back of the shop and came out in like a couple minutes with brand new bolts (they make them right there at the shop). it fit perfectly!

well i didn't really ask them. i just showed them the blocks that i had and he looked at my truck outside. he went in the back of the shop and came out in like a couple minutes with brand new bolts (they make them right there at the shop). it fit perfectly!

Sweet! shook and I were gonna go and get them today. I called and the guy said they closed at 4:30. It was about 5:15 when I called. He answered and told me that he was gonna be around for a while and to just come down. He would make them for me. We ended not going cause the line for the movie "300" was long. BTW...GO SEE THE MOVIE!!! It was AWESOME!!! :top:

yeah! 2 of my radio stations did an advance screening of it so shook and I went. If I had know you wanted to see it...I would have had you meet up with us. Sorry dude! We have other movies coming up. I'll find out and let you know.

haha nah man its cool. i usually see one movie a weekend and that's my choice for this week. lol, but working at the radio station sure has its perks huh?:biggrin:
