I'm currently going through the same thing. My truck is currently in the dealer getting looked at. About 6 months ago. They changed my CAI from Gen 1 to Gen 2 because it wasn't California legal.
Now the engine light kept going on and off and finally I brought it in and it was running lean. I guess the CAI is not compatible with my supercharger.
Now my question is.
How do I know if it actually caused damaged to my engine?
Because if they did. I'm gonna sue the shit out of this dealership.
