I like to use megs works well and not to bad on the price. The turtle just seems well kind of eh, but I would use it. I like that power ball really helps make that go fast and a lot less work on the arm.

the only problem with useing the ice wax liquid with an orbital is getting it off. i use th orbital with a polish cloth on it instead of the buffer cloth that came with it but it works great. if it is used right as stated above. but if your doing buy hand its sucks. it does a good enough job that people ask me to wax there trucks for them. but i only get dirty for my x

liquid clay bar is nonsense... it's misleading. it may help remove some contaminants, but it's not a clay bar... clay bars PULL all the junk out of your paint... but it you already have this stuff, i say use it bro. not gonna hurt anything and i'm sure it will look very nice. like others have said, probably not the BEST stuff, but i'm sure it's not bad.

When you use the interior stuff is it chunky? Mine has little white specks in it and no matter how much I shake it it stays like that. The other thing I dont like about it is it explodes outta the container, every time I use the stuff I start laughing because it reminds me of a Money shot.

over all Id agree with you though.

And as for the liquid clay bar, that is kinda crappy. It works a little but didnt do very much for my sonoma. (Ive never used a real clay bar to compare)

yeah, that liquid clay bar is a joke! I used it once since my dad bought it and i happened to be using real clay on my truck at the same time. SO, I did a comparison and the liquid clay bar did nothing

it was not chunky that is weird but the explosiveness of the stuff out of the container was funny. it shot past my cloth and onto my hand.:ahhhhh:

only have used it on the exterior and plastics and loved it! not on the inside. I waited 3 years before I put any solutions on the iside platic board.... that's just me though.

I have used the ICE wax and was not impressed (nothing turtle wax has). The liquid clay bar also does not work. It's just liquid and without a clay bar, you are not lifting contaminants to make it smooth.

I also used the liquid clay bar and a meguiars clay bar on the same vehicle and the turtle wax did nothing.

I have not used the interior stuff yet but from what I have seen it's thick so I stick with meguiars that doesn't harm anything or make it look like grease. IMO turtle wax is a cheap way to make you think your using good stuff. lol!

Soooo, I have been reading more on this stuff, and most the description that you have mention has been due to improper usage. No bash, just sayin.

This is a very good quick clay bar solution. The more you read on it, the more good reviews it gets. I will be applying my second coat on betsy tomorrow, before a local cruise/meet. (Pics will follow)

Disagree. The Liquid clay bar is crap. I detail on the side and have also tried the liquid stuff when my dad bought some for his truck. A liquid clay bar does not work because it is a liquid and it creates no abrasiveness. The point of a clay bar is that is gives you a very mild abrasiveness so it can pull the contaminants out of your paint. A liquid does not remove contaminants, over spray, etc...

I use Sonus clay bars and so far I like those the best. ICE products are made to appeal to people who want to get stuff done as quickly and easily. Same thing goes with their Polish. That stuff also does not work. In order for a polish to work it needs some abrasive properties. If you want real results, order some clay bars or go buy some and you will see what I am talking about....

It does too have an abrasiveness to it. "The Kit contains ICE Liquid Clay, Clay Bar Lubricant and a 100g Clay Bar." <---- Product detail. This obviously is not to stand with a high end clar bar kit like meguiars or sonus.

This is not applied like a traditional clay bar.

yeah when i was buying my clay bar kit the ICE stuff was right next to it and i saw it said "liquid clay bar" and i thought to myself "now how in the hell is that supposed to work or do anything??". the choice was simple.

Ok, sorry. I dont like to be an internet a hole. lol

To answer your question. No, they are different. A wax protects and is made of different composites then a wax, as you can tell by its form. A polish merely polishes. Wax>Polish. :top:

Back to the topic. The turtle wax liquid clar bar will not hold up to a traditional clay bar kit, like that of your meguiars. However, the liquid clar bay can easily be applied and give a small effect that you could see out of a true clay application. If you clay bar 2-4 times a year, you could use this in between applications to keep the build up down.

Ok, so if you have not kept up on waxing or you know your vehicle has alot of compounds binded to the paint. First wash, clay bar, then wax. No need really for polishing if you keep up on the waxing part. Polish is just to give it a quick shine.
