Well I can get a killer deal for a two tone paint job. And wanted to do silver on the bottom like this one but dont want to copy him.

So what I am thinking is going with a dark red kind of a blood looking red. Something deep and rich. With a silver pin stripe down it. I am going to go off the same body line he did though. But do you think its better all blacked out or do you think it will look better with the black top and red bottom?

And if I go with the two tone I was going to get all my fiberglass painted the same to match. If I dont I will be painting it all silver. What do you think?? :hmmmm2:

I will ask someone to do a photo shop before, so you have and idea!

Sound good to me. Just don't over kill the paint job with the pinstripping

Meh, not a big fan of the 2 tone paint like that. It should look pretty cool I guess.

:hmmmm2: Hmm... well since my RR paintjob got messed up already, I was considering a red/black hybrid also (since when I was buying, I couldn't decide between the two  ) but I dunno, I just couldn't visualize any paint scheme cool enough to make it worth it... Hopefully u and/or the photoshoppers come up with some cool ideas.

This two-tone example isn't really my style though. Hope it works out 4 ya.:top:

I really like the overall look of it! I didnt think it would look good with the RR on the bottom. So I think the dark red doesnt let the black be too over powering. Thanks for the photo! :top:

I really like the way this one turn out. I've always been a fan of the orange and black two tone. Perhaps with a silver pinstripe. :top: I also did one with orange on the bottom didnt look right.

I can dig it :top:

Maybe because you divided the lines different :hmmmm2:
I do prefer this look though... have you tried with red where the orange is?

Yeah after looking at it for some time I think your right, there's not really a good line to follow for a two tone paint job. imo our trucks look the best, just one color. But maybe playing with it for a while I can come up with something that looks good. We'll see. :dontknow:

honestly, i think two tone paint jobs are ugly, and should be reserved for "the dub style" cars, and if thats what you're into then go ahead, but the xrunner wasn't designed to be a "dub car"

why dont you use the paint money and use it on top of the money you have saved up for wheels and just have some really nice set a wheels, that'll probably make a bigger difference

Yeah, there is no paint job on earth that can make up for ugly wheels.
