I may have to hit you up, John
So is the bolt diameter 1/2 os 5/8"s ?
depends where you buy from. either should be fine. i ran pep boys one with my sc for a year, no issues.
and yes, 50 bucks is a deal. they are cast iron blocks, with a machine pressed center pin with high quality hardware. you can find aluminum all over, but the steel ones are a little pricey but worth it for peace of mind.
Jon, you didnt answer my question about the diameter of the bolt, 1/2 or 5/8?
yea i did, it can be either, depending on the kit, i dont know off hand what the stock one is.
Ok. I wasnt sure if the holes in the shock plate was drilled for 5/8 u bolts or not.
im doing an install next thursday, if you can wait till then ill get you the exact measurement, or, just go measure your stock u bolts.

Why is everybody against aluminum blocks. I wouldn't go with cast aluminum but I have used extruded aluminum blocks and never had any problems. My 3 inch blocks were $29 with ubolts. They have a steel center pin pressed in. They claim these blocks can withstand 100,000 lbs of pressure before they fail and they guarantee them for life. Here are the ones I bought. lowering blocks
dunno they came with the kit ...and ct is my second home ...was my first but xru has taken over
