I was wondering if there was anyone with a urd intake that had a billet grill also. (i know factory grill blocks alot of air from hitting the filter) I purchased the intake that SWB X use to have and its pretty much the same design as urd's but it made with those intake pieces you buy and fit together. I put it on with the MAF up by the filte,r but i was having a trouble getting it to stay running once i got above 30 mph. Once at 30 mph or above you could push the clutch in and the rpms would drop and the truck would go dead. After checking all my MAF wire connections and checking With Richard (swb x) i was out of options. I then was wondering if the air was getting forced thru the filter and throwing off the maf readings, so i took some masking tape and taped up my grill in front of the filter so the air wouldn't hit it to see if they helped and it fixed it. I have since moved my maf up next to the motor and it works great but i was just curious if others with urd intake was having this problems, and also wonder if the amsoil filter could help with the air getting in and throwing the maf off? (if you guys understand what im trying to saying):hmmmm2:
