so you drive with the scoop open through all seasons and no problem? I'm just really curious because i dont want to harm the engine im scared that i'll mess it up driving in the rain

So far nothing bro, and we have had some good storms here in MS. Mine sits unprotected from the weather. No problem, yet, I can't say for sure if it will cause a problem down the road. The only problem I have heard about them is they will fade, and someone suggested having another coat of clear put on it to help protect it.

I drive with my scoop open all the time. Rain doesn't affect my beast at all. And it sucks more than Jenna Jameson.

Indeed. There are a number of other things I would like to do first with $500+ than a hood. But maybe one day... :top:

I need an exhaust. :frown:

You can get intake and exhaust for that price...the VIS hood though is quite nice...the hood scoop is fully functional and it's one piece.....The scoop isn't removable.
