what do you dd now? 2022 edition

curious what you guys are driving now-a-days. post up pics and details.

my main dd is my 2005 swb xr with over 250k.

recently my wife bought me a supercharged trd gt86 conv for a new daily.

i started off with around 1800...yeah 1800 miles and am now over 6k. felt so bad i quit driving in and started to dd the xr 4-6 days a week lol...

My red truck is my daily but iv also adopted a 2004 Grand Marquis this past fall. Was my girlfriends old car that her family has used for a few years and beat the crap out of to the point where it didnt run any more. So i have been fixing it up and got it back on the road in time for winter. Because id rather drive that then the X on salty roads. So i still use that here and there usually when the weather is bad. Also its sad but it gets better gas mileage then the truck lol

i put $49 in the xr a couple weeks ago...which is the most money wise ive had to put in so far.

We get about the same milage. With mostly highway driving and cruise set to 70 she gets about 20 mpg. Head winds will eat it up pretty good though and drop to 18-19.

I have a 91 Toy Xtra cab I bought new. It's always been my daily and has 497,000 miles. I don't want to drive the X as a daily. I would get in trouble with it plus all the daily beating it up.

i've been having to daily my gt86 since i hit the deer in my xr. It's a 2015 and i just rolled 9000 miles on it yesterday.

the xr is an 05 and has over 260k on the od, but im gonna rebuild since insurance will not take care of it. needing parts so, here's the link to the xr wreckage...halp!

heading home tonight after work i hit a deer (big doe) and destroyed my front grill & radiator. it was rainy and light fog. i saw a deer up ahead and was about to slow down when another stepped in front o me. here are the pics...

I haven’t had my x since 2014. I still jump on here from time to time. It’s sad seeing how forums are dying off in favor of social media. This place was so active a decade ago.

After the X, I had an 08 ram for about 8 years, actually recently sold it because I never drive it. Only had 50k miles. Also had a diesel Chevy Cruze for her to drive. Currently, I daily my 2014 TDI Passat. Also have a 22 Tiguan R Line Black Edition, a 97 Cherokee 4.0 5 speed, and an 05 Saab 9-3.

If my 2006 daily blew up tomorrow, id probly take the drivetrain out of my 2011 and put it in and maybe do a crazy swap on the 2011. I really want to do a v8 so would either do a toyota 5.7 with a trd blower if I could figure out a manual trans that would work with it. Or do something totally off the wall like a old school chevy big block.

I officially turned over 500,000 miles this past weekend. It could use a new engine, this one is dieing, but with life changes the last couple of years, I won't be doing anything with it. It would be nice to say I dropped a 350 in it then open the hood and have the Toyota 5.7l sitting there.

@gearhead899 been doing well. Still working in the technology/E-Commerce sector, my wife and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary last year, and my kids are 17, 15, and 11 (crazy times). Will definitely be posting some pics of the wrap project soon. I took a lot of photos, mainly to help me remember how to put it all back together. : ) Wanted to get the forum cleaned up a little bit, both visually and structurally, since I decided to keep it going for at least another year despite traffic being a trickle these days.
