If you want a bluish kinda color...I would go with either 8000k or the 10000k HID's. You need H4's too. They will fit your XR. FYI...the higher the number...the more purple it will get. Also the higher the less amount of light it put's out. I recommend the 8000k's. As for which kit to get...McCulloch is a pretty popular brand. I went with XenTec's. They were cheaper but they do the job. :top: Hope this helps?

Mort is right on with his explanation. I would recommend 8000K also. As for brands, I would go with McCULLOCH, Phillips, or Super Vision. Good luck.:top:

6k or 8k will do but legally you would wanna go 6k but why go 6k when you can go 8k lol. Anywayz you should get a hella ballast conversion kit, ive heard its awesome with an 8k. My friend has one on his pre runner and he f'n blinds me from behind lol. His one is like skyish blue.

I dont know if its the bulb or the ballast but some 8ks are light or dark so a best way to get want you really want is to see someone elses.....

Yeah what everone else said you can take a pick:dontknow:

Go with the XenTec's. Can vouch from first hand experience that they are worth it. Those are my next mod...which brings me back to reality. I really want them maybe I should just buy them now:dontknow:

to adjust it usually takes about 10 min. or less. If you open your hood....on the back of the healight housing is a black round clip. Just take that off and turn it to adjust. There is also another adjustment wheel on the bottom. Turn both of them to adjust. Pretty simple.

For those not wanting to spend that much on a kit, I would check out the Luminics Pure Blue bulbs. I got them after I sold my kit and they look identical to my HIDs. They are only $30 and are just as bright and give off the same color, and you won't have to worry about problems with a PnP kit. I learned first hand.
