Getting the XRC kit within factory specs

X-Robber:

Something I have learned. It all depends on the alignment tech.
The basic XRC kit knocks negative camber out to about -3 degrees.
If the alignment tech simply tries to make it up with the eccentric bolts only, the best it will get is around -2.4degrees.
If the alignment tech is "good" and knows "tricks" to aligning customized suspension vehicles, he will know ways to get it within factory specs WITHOUT purchasing a camber kit.
I know on the XRunners there is a way that is quite simple.
With the eccentric bolts loose on the alignment rack, the tech needs to jack the truck up off of the rack, and push in on the bottom of the wheel.
The lower control arm will move inward.
they lower the truck then align it.
The eccentric bolts will get the alignment to factory specs that way.
No drilling
No special tools
No camber kits needed.

As far as that last message quoted from CT, I have seen that work on 100% of all XRunners I have personally watched get aligned. There have been reports of it not working on others, but I have not seen that on my end yet.
So please understand, that you may have negative camber until you drill a new mount for the UCA, or purchase a camber kit.
I for one have yet to need to do either.

Nope. My truck was used to design it. I just live near John (Composimo) and help him handle any questions on the kit. He cant be on CT or here all day long.

I know that a friend of mine said it was readily available, but when we went to align his XRunner with this kit, he was at -1.0 on both sides, which is within factory specs, so we left it at that.
Since then, Every one we have taken to get aligned has gotten where we want it, so we never discussed it again.
