Well I was trying to do the fog light mod and one i cut the wire and connected them how there were suppose to be they didnt work for some reason so i just connected the wires up back the original way and figured i really didnt need the mod it would have been cool to have, everything looked like it was working fine, UNTIL i got in my truck and started her up and tried to roll my windows up it Failed, tried to turn my a/c on it Failed, then i noticed my ABS light was on and also my Brake light was on but had the brake disengaged, so i was driving down the road and tried to ingage my cruise it Faild, so at that time i was pissed off and headed home, now i have to take it to the dealership to get fixed unless anyone knows what wetn wrong??

I swear i connected the right wires, i had the write up right beside me when i was doing it. Im just goin to replace my fogs at a later time and just wire it directly to the switch!! Im not trying to discourage anyone from doin this mod just try to find someone that has done it near to you ( i would have but the nearest X owner that i know of is 5 hours away!!!)

To do the fog light mod you shouldn't have to cut ANY WIRES. I repeat - you don't have to cut ANY WIRES. A quick splice, a piece of wire and a female Faston terminal is all you need.

Sorry that you had trouble with the mod - what method did you use? Post a link to the write-up so we know the steps you followed.

Yeah - do it the way above. Option 2 and only takes about 5-10 mins tops with no ill side effects.

what kind of connectors did you use those dont look like the but connectors ... ??? that looks waaaay simpler ...

See my post above. 1 quick splice, 1 female Faston --- SIMPLE. :top:
