This just came to my door step all nice packed in the large flat rate box

Big :top: to TheRetrofitSource for the fast transaction, shipping and for allowing the group buy on TW.
Probably won't be able to install until Sunday or Monday. Just excited to have it here.

Haha, I'll try my best to get some pics through the process. These are the morimoto minis so they require no cutting of the reflector bowl.

Did you get the 3five ballasts and bulbs or the 5five? About to purchase these and just wondering, Is there a how-to on these or pretty simple to install? Ive never done any retrofitting before, thanks for the help.

I purchased the 3five ballasts and bulbs. The install is suppose to be really easy to do. Doesn't require any cutting of the reflector bowl. They have great customer service that is more than willing to help you

Umm, which projectors did you buy? Most likely won't pass safety since it's not oem.

didn't buy mines yet but was gonna get the same as you with the phillips bulb. i was thinking i could convince the guy it came with the truck since highlanders and 4runners come with projectors.

mixplate, good choice! i just got my mini d2s kit yesterday. i just finished installing them about an hour ago.
install was really easy and straight forward. and the performance is awesome. much better than the ls gen1 projectors i had.

i'll post some pics soon. let me know if you have any questions.

Sounds good bro. Yeah it seems pretty self-explanatory.

I'll be waiting on those pics.

One quick question. Did you have to make a hole on the reflector bowl for the two wires on the projector that are for the high beam? I heard some people have had to do that

nope, no hole. i stuck the wires through the small hole that is left over when you remove the stock bulb shield. so there is really no cutting needed at all.

is it easy to get everything lined up straight and pointed in the right direction or does it take a lot of tweaking?
