Just Starting to Wrap

Vinyl finally came in! I grabbed the first and easiest thing to wrap...
I just have to clean it up with an exacto and pop it back in. Door panels and console to be continued...

Grab some carbon fiber vinyl and I'd definitely help you lay it down. I got mine off ebay, $20 for 2 rolls from "Ceasar Plaza".

I'm doin' the dark grey section above the armrest so the vinyl will go straight across from door to door.
I may go back and add some accents if everything turns out alright.

On the passenger side, darker grey part of the dash, it house the airbag behind there. The dash is engineered to tear apart during airbag deployment. Having vinyl wrap on top of it may or may not interfere with proper airbag deployment. Just sharing a safety concern, not trying to disrespect the thread by any mean.

Thanks, for the heads up. I think the wrap is thin enough that if the airbag has to deploy, it'll just tear away. I'll look into that! :top:

if you did a pizza pie slice design in the wrap on the dash it would tear open fine in case of deployment

Educate me...... I couldn't get my overhead console off..... how did you do it? I know there is a screw where the sunglasses go but then what?
