Does anyone measure intake temp? I would be curious to see exactly how much cooler turbos/URD units are...

After all, pressurized air is pressurized air - only difference can be temp.
They will be pretty close as long as the boost isn't real high. TRD has a smaller water to air intercooler (where URD is just air but larger) but back to back dynos on stock trucks with TRD showed no hp/tq loss, so I would say it's fine for at least 6 lbs. You can't see downstream IAT's but you might be able to monitor engine timing. When is starts being pulled IAT's are climbing. If heat is a concern with the TRD unit spray meth.

If heat is a concern run a 7th injector. If u really wanna get crazy run E85 thru all 7 as E85 is naturally cooler the gas

Kenneth206's 2011 XR

Current mods: TRD S/C. TRD S/S, aFe intake (from URD), URD cat-back, and some other little things inside the cabin :)

Side note, I met up with Click and had a beer prior. Looking forward to more PNW meetups.

I'm good to go for more PSI and DTLT headers, more dyno action to be posted later!

This graph, is kinda cool. Shows my truck stock, with just a flowmaster, and in its current stage of tune. Shows what $5,000 or so worth of add ons.....

How is he getting his a/F's at low 10's with stock NA injectors? With just the FP mod?

Increased fuel pressure....same way i'd be seeing over 350 on stock TRD's....if it were not for shitty cali gas...

Didn't know the stock injectors were capable of kicking the right amount of fuel needed to support forced induction

so this is off of a completely untuned ecu? very impressive! had no idea that fpr mod could do that much for those stock injectors

I cannot remember the OEM injector size exactly. 300 something cc's. Point is, even without doing the injector size to hp capacity formula, I am positive that his injectors are at their max IDC.

This setup proves a lot of things though. ;)
