Just got a text from the man himself. Gadget has just beat my 3 year TRD record of 12.720 @ 106 mph!

I'll let him chime in later... He may get an even faster time after I post this. :blurock:

Awesome BUT was that actually G driving.... ya mentioned a few times G that straight line racing wasn't one of your strong points...

Also was this the C38-81 or C38-91?

No, I still suck driving this truck at the 1/4 mile.

First run, missed a gear and miss shifted into the wrong gear. Very typical.

If I do not screw up the shifting at all, it will consistently run in the 12s.

I am running the -91 in the very same configuration that several customers are running. With the stage 2 pulley (75mm) it peaks at about 10 PSI and I was running the same conservative pump gas tune we send to customers.

The truck is making less power than I have run in the past, but seems to drive better.

The big difference today was I was really focusing on launching the truck. The new TwinDisc clutch is much smoother engaging and allows me to feather in the power much better and I got some really good launches with it today. That is making the biggest difference in the times.

I am sure a better driver can do much better. Happy I got a better time and did not break anything.

Next time I will power it up a little and see if it accelerates better or not or just spins more.

The -91 seems to be working much better as well. Makes about the same power at 10 PSI as the -81 makes at 15 PSI and the IATs are much cooler. Going to make this an option in the Mk3 kits as well as the 800cc injectors. There are about 10 customers out in the world running the combination now.

Can't wait to get the built stoker engine going and some wide drag radials and see if we can push it into the 11s.

Should reach 11's easy with traction. Traction will be the hard part.

I really want to see Werty's truck run with your kit on it to see how it compares to a maxxed out trd set up.

Are you talking about TRD's XRunner RTR with the Tundra drive train and those big slicks or something else?
