Was looking on eBay and came across a listing for a SubX enclosure

Have had this stuff in my room for the last 6 months and finally decided to in stall some of it. I removed my Eclipse 2 channel amp and 8in Kicker Solo Classic that was in a custom down firing box and replaced it with a JL Audio XD 600/1 running a Dual 4ohm RE Audio SEX 10in in a SubThump box...
The amps and sub are solid, I would really look at something differtent for the component speakers. I would suggest Diamond, Morel, Hertz, or Focal just my opinion and are you looking at going active or passive on the front stage
Its slow going here in NC, its been cold as hell and being a manger of a cell phone store during the holidays has me working crazy hours, but I was able to get the truck gutted and I am waiting on a delivery of sound deading material. I am trying to deceide on where do do my box for my 10 inch...
what is the 9 wire you are refering to in your diagram I am a bit confused. If it were me and I was doing this quickly. I would run the front and rear RCAS to the amp and then the catch the speaker wires as they come out of the harness at the headunit and run them to the amp.
The Pictures of the gear so far
Still left to purchase is the sound deadening and waiting to be received is my phoenix gold power and ground wire and distribution
I was going to replace the seat cushion behind the drivers seat with them, since I was going to use the SUBX enclosure but since my woofer doesnt fit the box, I am now thing Flush them into the top of the woofer box I am going to build
Well the time has come for me to start my stereo build. I will document the entire install as I work on it. This will be a slow going build as I have to work around my work and gym schedule. I will start with a list of the gear that will be getting used in this build, questions and comments...
If u don't mind the refurb units or don't need the newest technology try gainsaver.com. I have gotten several macs from them and have never had any problem with them.
Was passing Copperbean Coffee on Hwy 127 at about 11:15 this morning and saw a SWB X-runner. First one that I have seen here in Hickory NC. Wondered if the owner is on the forum.
I just did an oil change on the X and since I was able to find a good deal on torco SR-1 Synthetic Oil. I used it. Wanted to know if anyone else has used there stuff in their X or other rides. I have been using their SR-5 Series oil in my CRX for years.
I am liking the projectors my only issue with doing a retro is price and having to get a scond set of headlights for me to do the conversion, since the x is the daily driver.
Wonder if anyone is running this and weather or not they have and heating issues with the housing. I am looking at either a 35 watt 3000k DDM raptor kit or the 35 watt 8000k kit. Let me know your expirences.
Thanks
Dave
