Well the time has come for me to start my stereo build. I will document the entire install as I work on it. This will be a slow going build as I have to work around my work and gym schedule. I will start with a list of the gear that will be getting used in this build, questions and comments are welcome. On to the list

Head Unit Alpine IXA-w407
Processor Alpine KTX-100
Front Diamond Audio M561 New old Stock from 2000
Rear Fill Diamonnd Audio M365 New old Stock from 1997
JL Audio XD400/4 for the speakers
JL Audio XD600/1 for the sub
RE Audio SEX 10D4

JL Audio Interconnects
Monster Cable Speaker Wire through out
Phoenix Gold power and ground and distribution

RAAMmat BXT 2 Sound Deadening
Ensolite IUO Foam

Tweets will be getting molded into the pillars on axis, Mids in the doors. I was going to use a SUBX Enclosure that I had purchased on the forum but it won't fit my driver, so its going up for sale and I will do a custom enclosure with integrated amp rack behind driver side seat. Pics of the gear will be up shortly.

I haven't decided where I'm putting the 1000/1 yet. I'm trying to keep both seats but I have a custom sub box that is 2.3 cubic feet and it still keeps the seat belts available

Looks good man. I have heard some pretty crazy reviews on that RE sub. I got a crazy deal a 13.5 W7 so I had to take it. I almost bought one of those REs. So when are you going to start?

Its slow going here in NC, its been cold as hell and being a manger of a cell phone store during the holidays has me working crazy hours, but I was able to get the truck gutted and I am waiting on a delivery of sound deading material. I am trying to deceide on where do do my box for my 10 inch RE Sub either in the middle between the 2 back seats or behind the driver seat. but that may look unbalanced. What are your guys thoughts I was going to use the SUBX but the RE Sub does not fit so its for sale. Give me some ideas

Sub in the cdenter gives you full function of the back seat. I know first hand cuz i had a 2-12" sub box and couldnt fit no one back there. Now i have full function of seats for my neice n nephew again.

I'm putting mine in between the 2 rear seats. I have an 08 so it comes with those little plastic cupy things. I just screwed mine out and it makes a flat surface. I'm getting mine back (getting carpeted) soon so I'll post some picks for you. It still allows me to "legally" to have 2 passengers in the back but it will be tight.

Here is my sub and sub box. Just got it back today. It is 2.3 cubic feet and that is the 13 W7 standing beside it. The sub alone weighs 80 lbs.
