    FS: URD MAF Calibrator

Haha, no prob. I'll update this thread if sold. I believe if you ask Gadget nicely, he'll be able to help you out. He got me a tune right away, and I definitely appreciate it. Otherwise, you can actually follow his tuning guide if you have access to a OBD reader that can read out fuel trims...

    FS: URD MAF Calibrator

To be honest, I didn't see much increase of MPG, but I did see improved throttle response. My throttle used to hesitate through low RPM, but after installing it, the hesitation went away, and a smooth climb to redline was in it's place. Also, the tune was not exactly made for my mods - I only...

    FS: URD MAF Calibrator

This is still for sale! Install was extremely easy. I used http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/product-reviews/6192-urd-maf-calibrator.html as a guide, and had to switch around some color designations since I had a 4Runner. You Tacoma/XRunner guys should have no issues following the guide to the...

Yes, they are the same unit. I have a more original unit before they changed the faceplate logo to the URD one.

    FS: URD MAF Calibrator

Hey guys, I have for sale a URD MAF Calibrator. It was only installed in my truck for about 1 month, and then taken out. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, save for the wires being clipped slightly shorter than before, but that's nothing that can't be fixed easily. Besides, there is...

    maf calibrator removal?

Presumably, you can just clip the wires and electrical tape them so there's no loose wires or open wires. I don't see why that would change anything from stock. The voltage through the wire should be the same, even if there is solder there. All the MAF Cal does is it fluctuates the voltages...

    Torque App - Scangauge/Ultragauge Alternative

I'm not sure if Im right, but it seems to me that sensor measures the pressure inside the intake manifold, relative to atmosphere. When you accelerate under boost, the supercharger pressurises air, and sends it to the manifold, so it is way over 1 ATM (atmospheric pressure). When you let off the...

    Just installed URD MAF CAL

Alright, I have some results! I went to the track last weekend, and laid down some times. I ran the track before, with a fresh oil change, with two bolt ons: Intake and Exhaust, and no maf cal. The best time I got was a 15.956 @ 85.16 mph. The next week, I installed the MAF cal, along with a...

Anyone ever try "Chinese Water Torture" on their engines?

Haha what's up man. I'm gonna be getting rid of the car within 6 months or so, so I figure I might as well pass it on before I screw around with it and potentially break it. I'll look into headers and whatnot to satisfy myself.

    APR X-1 For Sale

I've got an x-1 unit I got from a fellow member on this site, T0LLPHR33. I'm letting it go because I learned from G that the X-1 is not compatible with the 03-04 1GR motors, which mine is an 03. Rather than experiment to see if I can make it work and risk frying the unit, I'm just gonna pass it...

Anyone ever try "Chinese Water Torture" on their engines?

Yeah G I was worried about hydro damage and waterlocking, but the way I let the water in, was kinda like letting the vacumn pull the water up from the cup, making a sorta twister-funnel shape of water. The engine didn't make any knocking noises or anything, so I figured all was well. I assumed...
