Only pit crew & media pass will get you this close. Unless you have a friend that's participating, media is your best bet. You get access to area for some sweet photo opt.

The drop is DJM.

As far as talking, I manage to get a few words in. My window is out of order so I had to open the door to talk to him...at a stop light. I was sitting in the right rear seat. Just gave him a compliment on the wheels & stance and told him my screen name.
