Moved into the realm of 3D printing. Hmmmmm. All the ideas!

That mock-up itself looks great Coupe. Who made the gauges?

Do you plan on 3d printing the spoilers?

No.

First off, that would take a seriously large 3-d printer. There is probably a service that could do it, but it would cost some serious bucks. Most printing services charge by the ounce in material. You also have to pay for the supporting material. That gauge pod took 30 hours to print and cost $550. That does not include gauges or the usb port.

The 3-d printing is good for making a prototype or maybe a plug for a mold.

The unit cost is the same if I print one or if I print ten.

For it to make financial since, you would need sale thousands to justify the cost of a mold. If you were going to do injection molding.

Gauges are Speedhut. I have not used them before, so I do not how well they will work. It was easy to match the gauges in the SS, since you can specify the colors, fonts & needles.

One of the little touches I did was I had a leather shift boot made with red stitching to match the seats.

I restitched the stock steering wheel with red to match.

I am in the process of adding some long tube headers, ported heads & cams.

After that, you can see some smoke.

Modder level - Master. Nuff said. Restiching the steering wheel looks like it would have been quite the task. It looks great though. :adore:

That gauge pod came out looking like OEM. Really. Which heads are you planning on getting, and how much differently are they from stock? Does new ported heads also include upgraded valve train components as well?

N/A & S/C favoring cam perhaps????

GM offers CNC ported heads that are very affordable. I plan to have a little more work done to them.

I am planning on roller rockers & hardened pushrods.

I am going the NA route on this car. 500 hp is easily attainable. If I am not happy with that I will add a S/C.
