4.56 gears

has anyone use 4.56 gears on there x-runner im thinking of getting some ..... what r the pros and cons on it?:hmmmm2:

Start with a 3.73 swap. Then go from there. Your factory one is a 3.15:1.

411s were absolutly useless. Id just launch in second gear. Truck was much slower with the 4.11s. Changing gear way too often. 4.65s would be ****ing useless. On the freeway you will be around 4k in 6th and gas mileage would suffer.

Stock. Trust me. Even with 4:11s, the truck was NOT any faster at the strip. Stick with the stocker. Just add some more go fast goodies. :rockon:

I would stay with stock, unless you have a T56 trans.

I had 3.73s. Fun but gas mileage suffered.
