What does BUMP mean?

When someone makes a post that brings the thread back to the top of the list.

"bumping it up to the top" basically.

They bumped this thread because they want to know about the difference in stopping power and how it feels.

Oh K, I have about 3k on the rear disk setup now, and I am happy to report that it works great. I have not had any issues. still waiting for my rotors to come in for the front, I have everything else made..caliper brackets, calipers, dust shields, just need the rotors so I can make the hats. the only thing that could be a bit better is the master cylinder. looking at a 4 runner MC, but if the 09s come out with the 4 wheel disk ill just use that, stopping power is a little better than the drums. but definatly need the bigger fronts.

damn that is hawtness. Id LOVE to do this, but I cant do the last few things you did. With the customness.

You could order all the parts and make the extra parts, and I bet quite a few of us would purchase them! :)

I was initially thinking about making a kit, but it is a pretty difficult conversion, probably beyond the average persons ability, the backing plates have to be cut off the axle, tabs have to be welded on the axle housing for the hoses, the brake cables have to be cut and new ends crimped on. I just decided with the sue happy public I just don't want the liability envolved with brakes, and SOS already has a kit for our trucks. Sorry Guys.
