Decided to break out the 81 Toyota Pickup Diesel yesterday for a road trip, thing got darn near 40 mpg going 65-70 on the E-Way with a payload. Awesome motor option in the day. Thing will last a lifetime !

1981 Toyota Pickup Diesel:
1981-1983-2.2 L Diesel I4, 62 hp (46 kW) at 4200 rpm and 93 ft·lbf (126 N·m) of torque (SR5 long bed only).

Booyow! I figured if you were posting it on here, it was most likely a truck, it was obviously old and any old truck that can rake in 38 mpg has to be a Diesel. Send my cigar priority mail please and thank you.

Hey thanks redarkx...I am very proud of my toyota collection, long time in the worx
This is my 84 pickup, doesn't see much light, but love it all the same. Snugtop IMO, awesome design in 84..on since new !
