Aren't those amgs open diff with just some traction control system, similar to our auto LSD?

Yes, open diff for now. Summer tires on a cold night just cannot get any traction.

You will love the 09. Also look at the 07 E63 AMG. The AMG stuff is stupid expensive new, but they depreciate so fast they are fantastic deals on the used if you take the time to look around.

Thought so. I recall on Top Gear, when they go and start ripping hectik skiddzzz in AMG's, they over heat the brakes everytime. :rolleyez: Post up a new video once you get a true LSD in there. :rockon:

Not necessarily..... At a 17" wheel, your factory tires are a 265/65 R17. With your current size combo you are slightly smaller. So you did a 37 - 84mph pull. 3 mph short of 50 mph difference. You need to start at basically 43mph and end at 96 mph.

Then I will time it again. :top: But, according to what your speedo shows, you are still going to be in the top two.

For the 60 - 100, start yours from 65. 106 is the stopping point, so roll on past it.
