aigbag light on?

well, I was painting my interior a couple days ago and I disconnected the passenger airbag while I was doing it. I connected it back together and reconnected my battery. But my airbag light has been on since then. Anyone have any ideas on how to handle that?

did you disconnect the airbag with the battery still connected? If so you may have tripped some kind of fail-safe or something. If the battery was disconnected at the time you removed the airbag then maybe there is a just a bad connection.

When I was hooking up my wideband I kept getting an error and no one knew what it was. It turned out that I didn't push the male/female connection in the sensor wire in far enough.

It may be something as simple as that.

no, the battery was disconnected. And I'm positive that i connected it back up right. Maybe I should try again just to be safe.

Yeah I would double check your connection.

Check your connections, and try turning the airbag off then back on.
