ya i shaved my tailgate, very very easy, all you need it a dremel.

The tailgate is not finished or painted yet, but goes to the booth in a few weeks

I got the pop-lock for the tailgate but i also have a snugtop sl...even if I keep the pop-lock in the unlock position the tonneau cover overlaps the tailgate and acts like a trunk...:top: no one's stealing my tailgate without breaking the lock of my tonneau cover 1st...

I have the Pop-N-Lock, but there's another cheaper option... Hose Clamp mod!

I never even thought about this being an issue. Do people really steal tailgates that often?

a tonneau cover with a shaved tail gate would be perfect lock the cover you can access the handle.....

im not a fan of a shaved handle... i had mine color matched it looks really good... it matches the painted door handles
