I'm debating whether or not I should get 19" or 20" wheels. One issue I have with getting 20's is that the recommended size seems to be P255/35/20, which appears to have a very small sidewall. Since my truck is a daily driver in Wisconsin (read- roads are very poor) I'm going to need a tire with a larger sidewall.

A P245/40/20 tire seems to have the same size sidewall as my old truck's 18" wheels had, and I had those wheels for 10+ years w/o issue. One problem with the P245/40/20 is that the overall diameter is slightly larger than the stock X-Runner wheels, hence my speedometer will be slightly off. Other than that, are there any potential issues with this size tire?

If you own P245/40/20 tires, please post-up some pictures

Im runnin 275/40/20 up front and 275/45/20 in the rear. I know that they are tall side walls but they do help with the load and the bad roads here in Hawaii.
