Yes we had this 1984 Toyota Tercel wagon come into my work today from Canada needing their oil changed. Had 217,000 miles. This thing was clean for age of being up north.

actually they do salt the roads in alberta but we dont have it in the air all th time and its fairly dry too

Salt & Sand here in B.C. , northern BC uses sand and gravel, causes lots of chipped windsheilds.

That would be an interesting drive from Alberta to New Orleans, First year I had my truck I took it down to Albuquerque, New Mexico then headed west through AZ then back home along west coast.

they do they use brine on the roads if its been nice and the roads are dry like right before (within 24hrs) it snows, but it is mostly gravel:thumbdown:
