My truck is originally from Alabama, so Ive been interested in converting my truck to km's. Is it as easy as swapping gauges on these things? I dont mind the odometer being in miles, even though it would be nice to convert it as well. Im just looking to have the numbers a little more visible. Let me know, Thanks.

I think all you need to do is change the face plate.

The needle position does'nt change, just the # on the plate. Your miles will stay the same for distance. If you buy a new speedo, you have to keep the old one and put a sticker in the door jam to state the changes with mileage and inform the ministry of the changes (mileage)when you get a new sticker.

When swapping clusters is there not a way to enter mileage into the new cluster? I work on vw's and audi's. Its as simple as using the scantool to enter proper mileage even if the cust installs it themselves within a certain driving mileage allowed before locked out of entering the proper mileage
