I normally flush my own brake fluid religiously, but I've noticed the ABS is not as smooth as it used to be in the off chance I engage it. The truck is coming up on 110,000 miles. Does anyone know if our truck has a separate reservoir of fluid for the ABS module that can only be flushed properly by having the dealer's tool to actuate the module's valves?

Don't believe that is needed.

I use a pressure bleeder on the reservoir and just crack the wheel bleeders.

Nothing special to do just keep the reservoir full enough not to get air in the system. If your concerned about missing anything in the abs unit go find some gravel lot and engage the system and bleed each wheel again.

That's what I figured. Don't feel like paying Toyota to do something I prefer to do myself.
