D1 Grand Prix Professional drifting Miami,FL ..56k too slow

I went to the D1 GP drift show in hallandale beach, FL amazing show ... love it every minute of it.. even with all the wait cuz of rain and heat .. the best part got there early ... vip parking and got media pass (which gets into any where in the show with any buts...) which made it 10 times better .... got to meet the guys from awesome guys and i loved their ae86... but deffinetly under power compared to the rest of the line up.... overall just the best time i had in while... enought typing here (some of the pics i have 507 pictures) the pics.. enjoy..

i was shooting with my D60 n regular lens with out a tripod which sucked ... next time im getting bigger lens n bring my tripod...

I must say, your shots through the fence are great, a lot of people get get around that thing. Did you have to speed up the camera? It is hard to pan a car through a fence to keep it in focus, you have to shoot 800 or above to stop the car as it zooms by. :biggrin:

thanks man , a lot try and error... for the shots ... i miss a lot cool angles but its all in the learning experience.. i definitely want to get better after being in the media section with SLR with huge lens next to me.. while im there with just a D60 Nikon 18-55mm VR ahahaha they were looking at me like a tricycle in a Motocross race ... way out my league.. but i stood there lol... cool didn't know the iso should b 800 n above now.. i know.. i want with the auto non flash.. (i dislike flash more like i just dont know how to used it well in other words..) but above all love the D60 works n how my pics came out.. thank for the help.. i appreciated .. :rockon:

i didnt but it sure slow it down... then at end the public didnt get their open pits because of the delays of the rain... so a lot ppl were pissed with that part... and over all compared to all the city D1 grand prix went.. its just South Florida didnt compared... small track... the show was not sold out.. which only hurts us... but i had a hell of time there.. cant wait 4 next years..

that BMW you were talkin about Smack, if it's the one I'm thinking of was @ the Indy Car weekend here in St Pete last month.
There as a drift exhibition, I'll check my photos but I think that's the one. He was pushin some wicked burns coming out of the airport, good driver!
