So yea, I have been looking, and I am having a really hard time finding some dimensions, to make sure what I want will work. Simply put, will these work together?

Another question... If I decide on getting this instead of the 4000:

that allow me to put the head unit on the bottom, and the little open compartment on the top?

The first combo you listed will fit fine :top:

now the single din unit with the single din dash kit will also go together, As far as putting the pocket on the top you may check and see if that can be done with the dash kit that Metra makes. I know you can't do it with the one by scosche.

I am probably going to go with the first setup I listed. It is the cheaper route, and I think it would look better.

I can get it for about the same price as the pioneer, it does everything the pioneer does, just a bigger screen.

that scosche kit looks like hell, the unit looks like it's being enveloped or somethin, go with one where the deck is a little more flush with the outside, I'll try to post some pics tomorrow of mine so you can see for yourself, and I'll find out what kind it is
