Engine question?

i have a 2005 xr and i was looking at the specs of a 2011 tundra 4.0 and it has more hp an tq than mine with the same compression ratio if we swap out the engines will i get more hp? or is it in the cpu tuning?

really if you were palnning on doing an engine swap then i would look into something more worth your while... v6 to v6 you are only getting a few ponies and spending a lot.... if you are looking into "ease" of swap take that 10g you would spend doing the swap and boost your current motor and spend half of that....
