Unfortunately my finances have gone south and its time for me to part ways with this truck too. I don't have a 30 post count, so I can't start my own thread.

FOR SALE: $13,500

Since purchasing this truck, I've put on about 11,000 miles. Literally almost all of it has been on the highway. I've used it as my delivery vehicle. I've added a few mods to it, done a ton of maintenance and its still a fantastic truck.

[FONT=&quot]It currently has 100,450 original miles.

I’ve taken a large quantity of photos of this truck. Feel free to look at them here:

I KNOW I’m missing a few extra mods, but I just can’t think of them. All in, over $18,000 has actually been spent to modify this Tacoma. The book value on a STOCK 2005 X-runner with NO supercharger is $13,550. I feel I'm being pretty realistic.

-----------------

Mechanical – This truck is in fantastic shape. It has ZERO issues. At least half of its already low miles have now been highway only and you can tell. It runs VERY well. The engine turn-key starts. Its runs 100% smooth. The exhaust is loud and mean but not obnoxious. It makes people grin. There are no strange noises. The supercharger does not clatter. The transmission was replaced with one with lower miles than the truck. I can’t remember the exact miles on it though. All fluids were changed in the last 5000 miles. The supercharger nose fluid has been changed 3 times since it was installed. The transmission and rear differential are both filled with RedLine oil. The engine has always been filled with Mobile-1 full Synthetic and just received an oil change last week. The transmission shifts perfectly. These transmissions have long clutch movement, so you have to depress them pretty far, but it shifts super smooth. The clutch engages strong and there is NO slip, but I honestly have no idea how many miles are on it. It is not the original clutch disc though. There was some URD part added to this transmission other than the short throw shifter but I cannot remember what it is.

**I will also throw in a 2nd FREE transmission with 85k miles on it if you want it. It works perfectly!** This does not mean the current one is crap. It works perfectly too. This was given to me by a previous x-runner owner who used to race his. If I remember right, it was the original one out of his truck before he put in a custom one. It doesn't have a speed sensor attached to it, so your speedometer won't work unless you swap it over from the previous one (no big deal).

**I'm also giving you a 2nd serpentine belt (Due to the Supercharger, its an odd size and they're not typically stocked at corner auto parts stores) and another bottle of supercharger oil.

Performance-wise, this thing handles and accelerates like an expensive sports car yet manages to still be a 100% functional truck that can tow or carry a real load. This truck is very exciting to drive; it really is. I can honestly say I’ve never had more fun and grinned as much while driving anything else I’ve ever owned; and I’ve owned some fun vehicles!
[FONT=&quot][FONT=&quot]That being said, this truck has always been adult driven in a modest manner for most of its miles. It's never been to a drag strip, raced off the line or pushed to its limits.

-----------------

Exterior:

Paint Condition - The satin black paint is 11 years old now. If you’ve ever owned a vehicle with satin black paint, it scratches easily and fades from the elements. This truck does have scratches, dings and wear. The paint has been repainted in some areas, etc. That being said, it really looks striking and people cannot help but stare.

The under body is in VERY Good shape for a 2005. There are tiny amounts of surface rust as all cars have, but no actual damaged, rusted parts. This truck spent most of its life outside of snow and rain and the under body shows it!

The projector headlights and tail lights were oven baked, pulled apart, retrofitted and painted from the inside. They are one-of-a-kind.

The rims are (KMC KM187) 8.5” in the front and 10” in the rear. They are RARE. You cannot find them. EVERYONE loves them. They do have some touched up curb rash on a couple of em, but still look very nice. You can NOT drive this truck through a car wash. The rims will get stuck. Due to the width of the rear tires (which is necessary with that much power) if you load down the rear of the truck with a LOT (bed, couch, chairs + all at once), just be careful over bumps. The fenders can nick the edges of the tires a bit when loaded up (but not badly). Adjusting the stiffness on the rear shocks helps quite a bit. The front tires do not rub under normal circumstances. If the truck tilts drastically while turning, they'll brush the plastic fender wells a bit, but nothing worth mentioning.

The tires are all new within the past couple years (changed at different times) and have a lot of tread left. The NT555 tires have a great mix of performance and tread life and I recommend them. They are a little stiff at first when its cold though.

-----------------

Interior - The interior has just been professionally detailed. There are a few small scratches but for a 2005, I'd consider it to be in great shape. It has a tiny amount of discoloration here or there on the carpet but you have to try to look for it. Overall is in great condition. The rear seat backs have a few small marks from hauling auto parts, but nothing bad.

All the buttons, switches, levers, pulleys, ejection seats work perfectly. Cruise control works great. Everything is mechanically sound inside. The Stereo is FANTASTIC. I love the touch screen. It has an override installed to watch DVD's while driving. The antenna has been shaved though so it has no standard ‘radio’.

The air conditioning is ridiculously cold and does not leak. The heat works perfectly.

The bed has a brand new BedRug and G2 cover. Both are less than a few months old and are in great shape. I cannot say enough good things about turning your bed into a giant, waterproof trunk! I have also installed a pop n lock system (with optional steel reinforcement) so the trunk locks and unlocks with your key fob. No having your stuff stolen!

-----------------

The above photos of the truck were taken on 5/20/2016 and it has not been driven at all aside from around the block. They represent EXACTLY what it looks like. They are not from a million years ago when it was new, etc. I want you to be familiar with what you’re buying.

-----------------

I am the owner of this vehicle. I have the title In-Hand. Everything I have said is true to the best of my knowledge. I will do my absolute best to make sure this vehicle exceeds your expectations when you take ownership of it. I have no problem with you arranging a service to transport the truck or discussing having me drive it to your location.

Moved to it's own thread :top:

Really hope this sells as a whole and doesn't get parted out. Would be a real shame. Make sure you post it up for sale on Craigslist, Facebook, etc. Whole trucks don't sell quickly here because most of the active members have them already.

Also it sounds like Carmax (if they're local to you) has been giving really good prices for supercharged x-runners of late.

Thank you for allowing this to be its own thread. I know I didn't have a high enough post count to set up my own. <3

Its currently on Craigslist and eBay! I'd much rather someone have a great time with this instead of parting it out as well.

Have you tried Carmax?

I haven't, but Carmax wouldn't be giving out offers anywhere near what I'm asking, would they?

I don't know based on the mileage but I've heard of S/C trucks getting upwards of $13k, it's worth a shot, if your don't like their number you don't have to take it.

Carmax here in Miami offered me $15k for my XR. She only has 26k miles though. Non S/C.

Alright guys! Thanks for the input. I'll take it over to CarMax today and see what they have to say. If they low-ball me, I'll see if there's any mods they don't take into consideration when valuing the vehicle and maybe that'll make up the difference after I pull them off.

I got 14,500 for a trade on mine, after I took the supercharger off and with about 70k miles

As mine sat, they told me it was one of the nicest trucks they'd ever seen and they couldn't find a thing wrong with it. But they said it wasn't the type of vehicle they'd typically sell. They offered me $8,000 for it to put it up for auction.

So looks like if it doesn't sell on eBay / Craigslist / here, I'll be selling off at least some of the mods. In the end I'll still need to sell a fully functional truck though.

I edited my listing. If someone on here buys it, I'll sell it to them for $13,500 so we can keep it in the community. That's what blue book value is on a stock one.

I wouldn't take the blower off. Just my two cents but it'll be a huge hassle and then the new owner will have a truck with the TRD supercharger flash and no supercharger.
