To each his own, I think ground effects on a lifted truck looks pretty goofy, but if it makes you happy that's what matters. Personally I wouldn't have a lifted truck without 4wd. Even if it's not used much it's one of those things that the one time you need it, you NEED it.

Do you plan on taking the body kit off, or leaving it on?

Gonna leave the kit on for now, I don't do any serious wheelin but I do agree 4wd is the way to go, I just wanted to be able to tow a small trailer and go camping and what not. For what I need now it's perfect...

looks ok. nice rim/tire choice. looks aggressive but i really think you should take the ground affects off. wouldn't look so goofy and you'd gain a little clearance

So here is the reason why I did what I did. Went camping this weekend, had the truck fully loaded and still flew up the mountains. It also went through some rugged terrain without one issue. I know the looks aren't for everybody but it feels like I got a brand new truck ...

Go for it, try a long travel with glass bed sides, front fenders with a rear LS or locker.
I have a complete 3.31 3rd member you could do a Lincoln or Miller locker with. Its has 2436 miles on it. It was pulled for a better ring & pinion set.

After removing the body kit. Next is to line-x the bottom of the truck from where the body kit was to the bottom, thinkin of doing the entire rear bumper where it is painted.
