So,
The moved me from being the NCOIC (NCO in charge) of the Orthopaedic Service. No more dealing with patients, docs, schedules, etc.
Now, I completely switched gears. I am now in charge of the transition team for the new East Bliss Super Clinic. They still haven't narrowed down the official name. I think it is going to be the East Bliss SFCC (Soldier Family Care Clinic). Its actually located on what is now the ever rapidly growing BAAF (Biggs Army Air Field).
So much going on it make my stomach hurt...... I am actually helping ensure the equipment gets requested and purchased. 120 exam rooms just to give you a clue how big it is.
The new WBAMC (William Beaumont Army Medical Center) is scheduled to be built on East Bliss; completed around 2014. It is supposed to be 1.5 million square foot.
So, big changes, but I will work my ass off to ensure it all comes together. Here are some pics of it as of today:
and poor KETCHUP at the job site. Got to get me a goverment vehicle. Cause this shizza ain't gonna cut it.....
